My name is George, I'm 22 and I'm a senior student at the Department of International
and European Studies at the University of Macedonia and I will be the Secretary General
of the Council of Europe.8 years ago, a High-School student myself - just like you - I entered the fascinating world of Model United Nations. This activity managed to bridge my interest for history and politics, improve my interpersonal skills and make me understand the way states behave and function within international organizations.
Everybody claims that the activity they promote is a life changer; they usually exaggerate. However, in my case MUN helped me travel to places that I wouldn’t have, make friends that I wouldn’t meet, collect experiences that have shaped who I am and what I stand for. I don’t know whether MUN will change your life, but it has definitely changed mine.
