Kalliopi Angelaki, CoE Dep. Pres. at RhodesMRC 2012
My name is Kelly Aggelaki, and by the time of the conference I'll be 22 years old. I am an undergraduate student in the Economic Faculty of International an European Studies of the University of Macedonia. From my first year in senior high school and on I have participated in many simulation conferences and moot court competitions related to international law and international relations and have challenged myself in all possible positions: delegate, chair, staff. All these experiences have given me an insight in the various aspects of a MUN that I hope to share with you all this Octomber. (such as ThessISMUN, RhodesMRC, MUNIST, BERMUN etc).

This year I have the honor and pleasure to participate at the upcoming RhodesMRC2012, as the Deputy President of the Council of Europe. With the experience of RhodesMRC2011 and RhodesMRC2010, the previous editions of the conference, I am certain that the RhodesMRC2012 shall be an unforgettable experience for each and every one of you.

I strongly suggest you to grab the opportunity of participating in a such conference, since through an experience like this, you will be able to broaden your horizons, to familiarize yourself with public speech and to increase your knowledge in a very entertaining manner.

So,as committee directors, me and my fellow President Lamprini, we are expecting you delegates to work hard and collaboratively and I’m sure that we’ll have achieved great success at the end of the conference.

However as you all know,MUN’s are not about diplomacy only, but also about getting to know people from different parts of the world, making new friends, having fun and relaxing in the social events.

Having that said, I would like to welcome you to the third Model Regional Conference in Greece, in the wonderful island of Rhodes and to an exciting and challenging debate full of innovative and fresh ideas!
