My deep interest in the International Affairs, prompted me to search for several institutions related to international relations and my first introduction on simulation conferences was while being in high school, where I took part in a simulation at the European Parliament, in Strasburg. Entering the university, I feel blessed to have discovered the Model of United Nations institution and the excitement became bigger and bigger, as my registrations in MUNs around the world were increasing. I had been participating for years as delegate and as a member of the Board, and I have gained unforgettable memories from each and every one of the conferences I attended.
During my years of studies, I also had the opportunity to live from within the life of a diplomat, while I was serving as a trainee at the Embassy of Greece, in Vienna. My interest in multiculturalism was the motive to become an intern at the “UNESCO’s Chair in Intercultural Policy for an active citizenship and solidarity”, at the University of Macedonia, which was followed, after an Erasmus semester in Germany, by an internship in the Greek Office for Economic and Commercial Affairs of Northern Greece (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), in Thessaloniki. After completing my undergraduate studies, I followed postgraduate studies on “European Youth Policies”, where I received my diploma “With Honours”. Currently, I have been serving, since 2010, as the Vice- President of UNESCO Youth Club of Thessaloniki and since 2012, as a member of the Working Committee of “Thessaloniki 2014 : European Youth Capital”.
Serving as the Secretary General of Rhodes MRC 2012, is an honor I was given, and a life standing experience I am about to take with all of you. On this unique “journey” you are about to embark on, I would, hereby, like to warmly welcome you all!
