Hello everybody!I would like to welcome you to the 3rd edition of Rhodes Model Regional Cooperation.
My name is Tsiftzis Zafeiris and I am 24 years old. I came up with my undergraduate studies at the University of Macedonia, department International and European Studies. At this year, I am on the 2nd year of my Master on Public International Law in Law Department at University of Thrace. This year also I’ve been honored to be one of the Deputies Secretary General of the 3rd Rhodes MRC.
I’ ve participated to many simulations of International Model United Nations, such as Model United Nations in Istanbul, Slovenian International Model United Nations, Belgrade international Model United Nations, Rhodes Regional Model Co-operation, Blagoevgrad Model United Nations, Bucharest Model United Nations, European Parliament Simulation, Catalanian Model United Nations etc. During these Models, I’ve only good things to remember; I’ve been given the chance to stand for my thesis, my aspects, and my position as well as meet people from around the world and have fun during the social events, people who afterwards became good friends.
I think that my previous experiences in Model United Nation gave me the great offer of a hidden opportunity to choose a different role each year...I encourage you all to take part and take advantage of all the benefits this conference may provide you.
So, I recommend the same thing for you. Play a different role. Make new policies. Make our UN better!
