The Guide to participating in RhodesMRC 2011

  • Documentation
    Get prepared for the unique experience that RhodesMRC 2011 is, going through our guidelines and study guides, at the documentation page.

  • Types of Participation
    As per RhodesMRC 2010, there are three types of participation in RhodesMRC 2011: Participant, Observer and Volunteer. For the latter visit the related page. The main difference between a Participant and an Observer is that a Participant is actually a part of the simulation (assigned a country or organization to represent) while the Observer is attending the sessions without any right of intervention or speech.

  • Registration and Fees
    Registration period will launch on May 1st and will last till mid-September. Have a look at the fees.

  • Getting Here
    Rhodes is an island South East of Athens and South West of the Anatolian Coasts of Turkey. There numerous flights connecting daily Rhodes with almost all major airports of Europe. For sea lovers, there are also frequent ship connections with Athens and Thessaloniki. Find your way to Rhodes.

  • Accommodation
    RhodesMRC 2011 has its own official hotel: the awarded 5 stars Sheraton Rhodes Resort, which will be providing with very special prices for all RhodesMRC 2011 participants. Take a look at the exclusive offer and the other accommodation options.

  • Group Delegations
    RhodesMRC 2011 Organizing Committee will facilitate Group Delegations only for Universities and Colleges that have an official liaison of RhodesMRC 2011. If you are interested to becoming the official liaison of your University/Institute to RhodesMRC, please contact us at secretariat@rhodesmrc.org

  • Official Program
    The official Program of RhodesMRC 2011 has been announced. A general outline has the Opening Ceremony on October 19th, sessions October 20th-22nd and the Closing Ceremony on October 22nd. If you need more information, just click here

  • Cultural Events
    The RhodesMRC 2011 Organizing Committee is scheduling various cultural events for the conference's participants. There are a lot ideas on the table but to get a hint, a tour of the island, a party and a dinner are the top ones to be considered.
