Registration
Anyone may apply for participation to RhodesMRC 2010. However, not all applications will be accepted, while the final participants of the conference will be selected by the Registration Committee of RhodesMRC 2010 (consisting of three members of RhodesMRC 2010 Board and two members of the House of Europe in Rhodes). Furthermore, a small percentage of the seats will be reserved to applicants from Rhodes.
There are three types of getting involved to RhodesMRC 2010:
- Full Participation
Full participants will be assigned a country or organization to represent at RhodesMRC 2010. Full participants must be 21-29 years old (younger or older people may apply, but their selection will be subject to availability and priority) and might be undergraduate or postgraduate students, professionals or researchers. - Observers
Observing participants are those who may apply to be present at the sessions of RhodesMRC (without any priveleges of speech, voting) solely for the purpose of education and personal interest. There is no age or field limitation for those interested to apply. (for the packages see here)
- Staff/Volunteers
Staff and Volunteers are people willing to help organizing RhodesMRC 2010. Among their obligations will be note-passing, typing, photocopying, car pooling, escorting groups e.t.c. (click here to get involved)
The official registration period is devided in four waves:
- The first wave (April 1st - June 20th, 2010) is an "express of interest" period. There is a special discount at the fees for applicants of that period. First wave period has expired. CAUTION: Applicants of that period need to re-apply with the official registration!.
- The second wave (June 21st - September 17th, 2010) is the "early-registration" period. There is a special discount at the fees for applicants of that period.
- The third wave (September 17th - October 6th, 2010) is the "late-registration" period. This period is solely provided for the purpose of covering empty seats after cancellations.
